Anna Louise Dalton, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at her son, Gilbert Dalton’s home on the Kingwood Pike in Reedsville with loving family by her side. She formerly lived on the Dogtown Road.

Louise was born April 28, 1927, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Frank and Effie Beckman Turner. When Louise was 2 weeks old, she was raised by her late brother Wes Turner and his wife, Flora.

Louise was one of the oldest members of the Kanes Creek United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Gilbert Dalton and wife, Sandy Summers Dalton of Reedsville, where she made her home for 6 1/2 years;  two daughters, Darlene Hawkins (Rod) Peaslee of Albright and Penny Deberry of Kingwood; her daughter in-law, Sandra Dalton of Kingwood; ten grandchildren, Shelly and Jeff Pyles of Kingwood, Shannon and Gary Thompkins of Westover, Jason Dalton of Reedsville, Robin and Bobby Goodwin of Kingwood, Darla and Bobby Calvert of Cheat Lake, Rick and Becky Hawkins of Romney, Nicole Shaffer of Kingwood, Kevin and Pam Deberry of Kingwood, Kathy of Bruceton and Teresa of Grafton, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and sister and brother in-laws.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter (Duff) Dalton, her daughter, Ilene Marie Dalton, her son, Milford Ray Dalton; four sisters, five brothers, and a son in-law.

The family would like to send a very heartfelt thanks to WV Caring, Amedisys Hospice and Preston County Senior Citizens, (Stephanie and Erin), Preston Memorial Homecare, (Kristen) and Preston Health Care, Robin Goodwin, Nurse Practitioner and all the staff members for their love and support.
