Mrs. Anna (Della Torre) Lickteig , age 83, of West Haven, formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late John Henry Lickteig , passed away on Wednesday,December 24,2008 in The Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven.
Born in Waterbury, on June 14, 1925, the daughter of Emanuel and Rose (Fiore) Della Torre. Anna was a registered nurse having retired as the Director of the Orange Convalescent Home.
Survivors include her six devoted children and spouses Barbara and Richard Obert of Milford, Rosemary and Kevin Brooks of West Haven, Janice and David Brown of Cheshire, Rita and Ed. Finnegan of West Haven, Anne and Daniel Davis of Middlefield, and John H. and Elaine Lickteig Jr. of Woodmont, twelve loving grandchildren and two cherished great-grandchildren, she is also survived by a brother Emanuel Della Torre of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
