Anna L. Langenfeld Anna L. Langenfeld, 87 of Centralia, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born November 11, 1927 in Tamaroa, daughter of Herbert H. Blanchard and Nellie (Holden) Blanchard. She married Robert E. Langenfeld on June 23, 1951 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Centralia and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1994. She is survived by a son, Robert E. Langenfeld of Greensboro, NC; a daughter, Lucinda “Cindy” Langenfeld Johns and husband Harry of Chicago; a special friend of 12 years, Eddie Womble of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers: Townsend H. Blanchard and Bernard Blanchard. Anna worked with her husband Robert at the Langenfeld Motor Company for many years. She was a lifetime member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Centralia. She taught Sunday School when her kids were young and she was an Elder on the session. Anna was an Enabler with the Presbytery of Southeastern Illinois. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and P.E.O. She enjoyed dancing with Eddie every Friday night at the Centralia V.F.W and she was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Fan. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
