Anna Irene Goodpaster, 84, of Anderson, passed away on December 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 29, 1933 in Mitchell, and resided most of her life in Anderson. She was a dedicated mother, devoted follower of Jesus Christ and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Anna is survived by her children, Robert Max (Dema) Goodpaster of Anderson, Johnathan Mark (Lisa Mullinax) Goodpaster of Bloomfield, Virginia Ruth (Don) Goodpaster of Seymour, Steven Douglas (Deanne) Goodpaster of New Castle; sisters, Edith Goodpaster, Carol Willyard; grandchildren, Waulina, Robert, Jonathan, Lori, Nikita, Don, Michael, Nisa, Brandi, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Kierra, Leon, Keelan, Zack, Allysa, Haley; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Virginia Modglin, Sophia Ratliff, Ira Leatherman, Margaret Pemberton; special friend, Kenny Martin; and her parents, Henry and Ruth Leatherman.
