WINSTED – VADNAIS – Anna I. Vadnais, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Noble Horizons in Salisbury, CT. She was the loving wife of the late Wilfred Vadnais for 31 years. Born August 2, 1924 in Hartford, CT; the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Bentley) Swan. She resided in Winsted for the past 30 years. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Hale and his wife Joy of Winchester Center and William Hale and his companion Bernette of Torrington; a brother, Edwin Swan and his wife Charlene of Kentucky; three sisters, Billie Gravelle of Winsted, Inez Rogers and John of Burlington and Thelma O’Leary of PA; 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Hale and his wife Ursula, Kim Esbjerg and her husband Ray, Bill Hale and Anna Hale; 4 great grandchildren, Raymond and Cody Esbjerg and Ciara and Molly Hale; a step-son, Paul Althouse of Florida; and a step-grandson, Tim Althouse and his wife Nicole.
