Anna I. Roy, age 90, died peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Westport Healthcare surrounded by her beloved son and daughter-in-law. Born February 28, 1920, in New Canaan, Anna was the daughter of the late Michael Nagy and Julia Nagy. Anna was a longtime employee of Burndy Corporation in Norwalk. She retired to Sevierville, Tennessee for 8 years and then returned to Connecticut to live closer to her family. Anna loved to cook, shop, crochet and make crafts for the family Christmas tree. She enjoyed listening to Elvis music and cultivating her many beautiful plants. Anna was a devoted and generous mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her much loved son, Robert Roy and daughter-in-law, Eileen Roy, of Fairfield. She is also survived by her beloved grandsons, Michael Roy and Thomas Roy, of Fairfield. Anna is survived by her beloved sister, Julia Servadio and husband, Oliver Servadio of Southbury. She is also survived by her nephew, Alan Hracs and grand niece, Keri Hracs of Norwalk. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved twin sister, Helen Hracs and brother-in-law, George Hracs.
