Anna McKee
Anna McKee, 93, of Gooding, died December 16, 2012 at North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding.
She was born January 18, 1919, in Martinez, CA to John and Adele Bachmann. Raised in Philadelphia, PA, she worked as a sales girl where she met and married her husband, Paul. They farmed and later traveled extensively with his job in construction. They loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing.
Anna was a devoted wife and mother. Paul died in 1978. She moved to Great Falls, MT to be near family. For twenty years, she was actively involved with the Senior Citizen’s group. She worked on improving legislation for seniors. She then moved to Sparks, NV for 10 years and to Gooding in 2008.
She was a member of St.
Anna is survived by her children, Barbara (Jerry) Schmit, of Custer, WA; Paul (Roxanna) McKee, of Sparks, NV; and Loretta (Ron) Darcy, of Gooding; her grandchildren, Susan Hawley; Dan Schmit; Michelle (Diego) Montoya; Teresa McKee; Angela (Rick) Flora; Brian (Jennifer) Darcy; Robin Darcy; Dana (Jordan) Meeks; Kevin (Sarah) Darcy; great-grandchildren, Jaiden Schmit; Kashmir and Logan Falkeld; Drako and Rowan Hawley; Eli, Kaitlyn, Mayaac, and Breaker Schmit; Eric, Evangeline and Gloria Cachinero; Ana and Felipe Montoya; Julia McKee; Jarod and Alycia Flora; Jack, Alex, Liam and Shane Darcy; and great-great-grandchild, Alfonzo Cachinero. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Anna will be remembered for her love of God and family; humor; singing; and playing harmonica.
