Anna Deneil Gardner, 53, of Cottonwood, AZ passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2020 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on December 7, 1966 in Holbrook, AZ to the late Loran and Vera Peterson. Deneil grew up in Snowflake, AZ until she was married and moved to Mesa, AZ for a short time until they ended back up in Holbrook for most of her marriage. She eventually moved to Cottonwood in 2007 and has been living here since. Deneil was a teacher’s aide and touched many of her students lives throughout her career.
