ANN SCOTT ROCKWELL, age 72, of Bristow, VA died Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at her home. She was a member of the Army Officers Wives Club and a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Mrs. Rockwell was an office secretary at the United Nations and was a Barbizon model. She was preceded in death by her husband LTG James Mitchell Rockwell, a 1951 graduate of West Point. The two were married the day after his graduation which started her career as an Army wife. She accompanied him to duty stations all over the world with the last tour being at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Survivors include five children, Martie Rockwell Strafer, of Bristow, VA, James Mitchell Rockwell, Jr. and Becky Rockwell Smith, both of Alexandria, VA, Scott Thomas Rockwell and Jessamine Marie Rockwell, both of Tampa, FL and seven grandchildren, Kendal Ann Strafer, Erin Anne Rockwell, Robert Rockwell Smith, Andrew Tyler Smith, Meaghan Rockwell, Ashley N. Rockwell and Brittney A. Rockwell.
