Ann (D’Amore) Piegari, 97, of Holiday City West section of Berkeley Twp., NJ, died on Friday, December 8, 2017. She lived for 63 years in Newark, where she was employed and retired from the A&P Company. Toms River has been her home since 1983. She was an active member of the Holiday City Clubhouse, Deborah Hospital Foundation, the St. Maximilian Kolbe Fundraising Committee and an active supporter and volunteer for the Ironbound Little League in Newark. Ann was a loyal and devoted wife, mother and friend.
She was loved by all whose lives she touched and was the epitome of the Greatest Generation. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph, of 68 years and her grandson Joseph Piegari, Jr. Ann had three loving sons, George and his wife Melou, Pat and his wife Donna and Joseph and his wife Deirdra; two sisters Rae Damico and Millie Gaglioti; a brother Tom D’Amore and his wife Judy; six grandchildren, LeeAnn Keever and her husband Christopher, Patrick and his wife MollyAnn, Glen, Jeffrey, Jonathan and Christina La Capra and four great grandchildren, McCarthy, Grayson, Garrett and JulieRose.
