Ann was a very independent person, and she lived alone until the last few months of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Ann loved caring for her two dogs.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs, and was very involved in the Grief Share Ministry. Ann was also involved in the Methodist Women’s Sunshine Circle. Ann Germano, 93, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away August 17, 2015. She was born June 14, 1922 in Flag, Arkansas, to John and Eva Warren, and was raised in West Helena.While her husband was alive, she was a member of the American Legion Auxilary. Ann was in her eighties when she served as a substitute teacher at the Community School of Cleburne County.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene Germano.
Ann is survived by her son, Bill (Priscilla) Carr of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Vicki (Ernie) Longing; six grandchildren: Trish Adams, Louise Madrid, Steve Lopez, Amy Vaughn, Scott Longing, and Sarah Longing; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are very special friends, Charlie and Pam Evans, who were always there with love and support.
