Ann G. Gunther, 92, of Hellertown, died Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Mary Ellen Convalescent Home in Hellertown. She was the wife of the late Herman Gunther who died Nov. 5, 1988. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Konya) Gerny. Ann worked in housekeeping in the custodial dept. for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 29 years until retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus in Hellertown. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kathleen A. Gunther of Hellertown and Joan E. Korastinsky and her husband Richard of Pinckney, Mich.; sister Julie Moralis and her husband Jim of Orefield; brothers Frank Gerny and his wife Shirley of Palm Beach, Louis Gerny and his wife Irene of Trevett, Maine; grandchildren Debbie and Brian and three great-granddaughters.
