Ann G. (Marconi) Bittakis, 95, of Peru, formerly of Wheeling, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Peru. Bittakis was born March 9, 1922 in Cherry to John and Guiditta (Seben) Marconi. She married James Bittakis in 1941 in Chicago. She worked as a waitress for many years at Brokers Inn, downtown Chicago and was a member of St. Andrew’s Church in Wheeling.
Survivors include two sons, Mark (Becky) Bittakis of Florida and Paul Bittakis of Wheeling; two grandsons, Christopher and Nicholas; one sister, Mary Pattelli of Peru and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; two sisters, Yolanda and Elvira Marcorni and two brothers, Marco and Angelo Marconi.
