Ann Claire Coon, age 82, formerly of West Washington Street, Grafton, passed away, Thursday, November 11, 2010, at Grafton City Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Grafton, December 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Alfred and Ruby Nay. Her husband, Floyd Stoneman Coon, preceded her in death. Surviving are: one son, John A. Coon, of Grafton, one grandson, John A. Coon, Jr., and one great granddaughter, Brittney Coon, of Grafton. She was very well liked by the staff and other patients at Wallace B. Murphy NCF I and NCF II. Mrs. Coon was a loving mother and grandmother, she was a homemaker. At her request Mrs. Coon will be cremated.
