Anita attended Muncie City Schools and later married the love of her life Charles “Charlie” Workman on March 26, 1988 in Muncie and he survives. Mrs. Workman had worked for various places through the Muncie Area most notably she had been a nurse’s aid and worked in housekeeping for a variety of health care facilities prior to her disability.
Besides her husband of 29 years, Charlie, she is survived by two sons, Michael Workman, Muncie and Troy Hicks (fiancé-Amanda Stanton), Albany; three grandchildren, Madisyn Workman, Muncie, Abel and Jackson Hicks, both of Albany; one sister, Cheryl Coates (husband-Shane), Muncie; one brother, Shelby Hicks; several nieces and nephews,
She is preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Arthur Baker in 1991 .
