Wallingford – Angeline (Ann) Platenyk, 93, of Wallingford, departed this life on Friday, April 20, 2018, peacefully at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford.
Ann was born on October 25, 1924, in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Salvatore DelVentura and Mary (Solombrino) Bucci. She was predeceased by her husband, George, and two brothers, Anthony and Andrew DelVentura.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for Stauffer Chemical Company, Dobbs Ferry, NY as an Administrative Assistant. During her retirement years, she volunteered as an aide in the Wallingford school system.
