Angelina “Angie” Gasper, age 88 years, of Kingston, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. She was the wife of the late Dexter Gasper, who died September 3, 2020, and the daughter of the late Joseph and Almarinda (Souza-Cavacco) Cabral. Born on May 11, 1932 in Kingston. She worked as a Safety Deposit Room Clerk for the former Shawmut Bank in Brockton. Angie had many interests including working in her yard and gardening, braided rug making, baking and decorating cakes. During her retirement, Angie worked in the Sales Office at South Meadow Village in Carver where she and her husband Dexter resided. She could also be seen volunteering at South Meadow Village at Bingo and escorting bus trips. She was a former Sunday School teacher and a member of the Altar Guild at Christ Church, Episcopal in Plymouth. She was a very active member of the former Duxbury Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #219 for over 50 years. She gladly held many positions with the chapter including, Grand Representative of Idaho in Massachusetts from 1961 – 1964, Deputy Grand Matron from 1966-1967, Deputy Grand Matron from 1993-1994, Deputy Grand Marshall from 2000-2001, Worthy Grand Matron from 1989-1990 and Worthy Matron from 1992-1993. Angie will be sadly missed by her children, Diane K. Ford and her husband Douglas of Carver and David R. Gasper and his wife Darcey Eldridge of Halifax, and her granddaughter Ariel A. Gasper.
