Angelena V. Schiller (nee Chiariello) of Burlington, died Wednesday, November 16th, at Vitas Hospice Inpatient at Kennedy Hospital in Stratford, she was 86 years of age. Born on April 3, 1925 in Italy, she came to the United States with her family settling in New York when she was just 5 years of age.
When she was 10 years old she and her family moved to Burlington and has remained a resident of the Burlington area ever since. A longtime member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church she was also an active member of the local Parent Teacher’s Assoc. when her children were going through the school system.
She loved cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting and making holiday ornaments, which she enjoyed sharing with family and friends. Daughter of the late Giovanni and Teresa Chiariello and wife of the late Richard L. Schiller, Sr., who died in 2005, she is survived by her two sons and daughter in law: Richard L. Jr. (Lisa) Schiller and Mark Schiller all of Burlington. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Nicole, Erika, Grant and Jack as well as her two sisters; Vivian Maggi of Willingboro and Helen Lucia of Burlington Township.
