Angela Regina Reppert, formerly of Fountain Hill, died December 21, 2014, at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Independence, Kansas, Angela was the daughter of Charles and Mamie (nee Martignoni) Schmid. She graduated from Fountain Hill High School and the United States Cadet Nursing Corps established during World War II at Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She was the widow of William D. Reppert, MD.
Angela did private duty nursing in Philadelphia in the early years of her marriage and later managed the business function of her husband’s medical practice. After her children were grown, Angela began a career of volunteerism that included working at the Goundie House Museum and St. Luke’s Hospital where she worked as a volunteer nurse as well as in the gift shop. Angela also served on the board of directors of the Visiting Nurse Association of Bethlehem and volunteered at their in-patient hospice program.
Survivors: Children; Richard (Jeanette), Susan, Cynthia (David Adams), and William (Luann); five grandchildren; two great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, Angela was predeceased by her sister, Marie Spivak and great granddaughter, Jessica Frankel.
