She was born in Frankfort on January 13, 1964, to Doris L. Miller Hockensmith of Richmond and the late Donald C. Hockensmith. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Emmett Hockensmith and her Grandfather and Grandmother Miller.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her grandmother, Pauline Hockensmith; one aunt, Lou Ann Feck; and one cousin, Christi LeMay, all of Frankfort. She also leaves behind extended family and friends at CAKY Winchester in the Morehead office and her devoted and loving caregiver and confidante for more than 20 years, Lynda Bates of Morehead.
Angela was a former employee of Boomerangs in Morehead and Goodwill in Mt. Sterling. She enjoyed crocheting afghans for patients in the nursing home, doing artwork, singing Gospel songs, shopping, and eating out with friends. Angela was a loving, caring person who would help anyone at any time. Her sweet personality and many acts of kindness will be greatly missed.
