Angel Luis Vazquez, 60, of Fountain Hill died Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in his home. He was the beloved husband of Ludgarda “Luga” (Lastenia) Vazquez. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Carmen (Rivera) Vazquez of Bethlehem and the late Pedro Vazquez. A Liberty High School graduate, Angel joined the Army where he served as a medic during the Gulf War. After returning to the United States, he worked as a Senior Cottage Training Technician at Hunterdon Developmental Center, Hunterdon, NJ for 25 years before retiring in 2020. Angel loved his clients and never considered it work but more like a calling. He was a faithful Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed listening to Spanish and Old School music.
Survivors: Wife; mother; sons, Luis Angel Vazquez and his wife Jeannette of CA, Richard Joaquin Vazquez of Salisbury Twp.; twin granddaughters, Vanessa and Carmen; grandson, Dominic; brothers, Santos Vazquez and wife Andrea of FL, Robert Vazquez and wife Isabelle of Allentown, Pedro Vazquez, Jr. and wife Milagros of Allentown, Joaquin Vazquez and his wife Sandra of Bethlehem; sisters, Carmen Molina of Bethlehem, Maria Trinidad of Bethlehem; beloved puppies, Keystone and Midnight.
He was predeceased by a sister, Norma Vazquez.
