Angel L. Acevedo, 63, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday March 31, 2009 at L.V.Hospital Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Reina (Colon) Acevedo for 10 years. Born in San Sebastian, PR, he was the son of the late Augustine and Maria (Mendez) Acevedo. He was formerly employed by HAB Industries in Allentown. Survivors: wife Reina at home, former wife Ana Acevedo of Bethlehem; daughters Mabelyn (Luis) Rodriguez of Jersey City, NJ, Maritza Coe of Allentown, Lisa (Alton) Atkins of Allentown and Johanna Castillo of Bethlehem; son Luis A, (Judith) Acevedo, Sr. of Allentown; brothers Augustine of CA, Ruben and Edward Bethlehem; sisters Antonia Alicea, Minerva Rosa and Marta Ramos all of Bethlehem; 12 grandchildren. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Pedro and Anastacio.
