BARKHAMSTED -SEDZIMIR – Andrzej Rafal Sedzimir, 75, of 82 Ratlum Road, died Monday June 9, 2008 in Torrington. He was the husband of Maria (Mysliwiec) Sedzimir. Born January 29, 1933 in Slubowo, Poland, son of the late Jan and Helena (Mlynarska) Sedzimir. He came to the United States in 1965 and moved to Barkhamsted in 1971. A Mechanical Designer, he was employed by T. Sendzimir, Inc. of Waterbury, CT., Combusition Engineering, Inc., ABB CE Services, Inc., and ALSTOM, Inc. of Windsor, CT. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Renata Sedzimir of Barkhamsted and a brother, Jacek Sedzimir of Warsaw, Poland. He was predeceased by a brother, Jan Krzysztof Sedzimir of Warsaw, Poland.
