Andrew Joseph Martines – Schneider, 18, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy.
He preceded in death by his great-grandmothers Sharon Donahue, Frances Mares; grandmother Carla Martines; uncles: Antonio Martines, Nicholas Martines; aunts: Hope Martines, Linda Costillo; cousins: Bella Marquez, Cory Marquez, Eric Costillo, Tracy Fernandez and Kristy Fernandez.
Andrew is survived by his mother Tina Martines; father Charles Schneider; auntie Debra Fernandez; uncles: Guy Fernandez, Steve Fernandez; cousins Isabella Martines, Sierra Martines, Brandi Alire, Jade Alire, Deliah and Stevie Fernandez and Isaiah Negron.
Andrew was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 13, 2003. His family and friends remember Andrew faced his battle head on wheelchair bound and never feeling 100%. He never complained about his illness, instead he brought so much joy and happiness to everyone around him. Andrew will be dearly missed by his loved ones who gather to celebrate his life and are happy knowing Andrew is in Heaven meeting his creator.
