Andrew John Kelly, 20, of 1653 LaHarpe St., LaSalle, died December 28, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria after a brief illness.
He was born April 23, 1986 in Peru to William and Terri (Phillips) Kelly. He was a graduate of LP High School and IVCC and currently was attending Northern Illinois University majoring in journalism. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Peru and had served as a church camp counselor. He played in the LP band and the IVCC Jazz Band. He was a member of Egans Unicat Band. He was senior class president at LP, member of the Key Club, and played basketball and baseball at LP. He also wrote for the Teen Trib.
He is survived by: his parents, of LaSalle; 1 sister, Bettianne Kelly of LaSalle; 1 grandfather, Ray Kollar of Peru; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
