Andrew A. “Handy Andy” Churry, III, of Burlington City, died Saturday, November 15, 2008, at his residence after a recent illness. Mr. Churry was born in Plymouth, PA and lived most of his adult life in Burlington. He was an aircraft mechanic who had worked for the Boeing Aircraft Company and after that, he retired as a civilian employee at Ft Dix. He received his private pilot’s license and his aircraft engineer license when he was seventeen years old. He loved to fly and he had built a couple of his own airplanes.

He also liked to go fishing, boating and camping and he enjoyed visiting Cape May. He is survived by his wife, Delores (nee Kowalski), his sons, Robert (Donna), of Burlington, Stephen, of Voorhees, his daughter, Donna (Craig) Drachman, of Houston, TX, his grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Michael and Christina Churry, Joshua and Nicole Drachman, Joshua Paolillo and Jena Leigh Lukis, and his mother in law, Stella Cole.
