Andrew Charles Spencer, 59, of Middletown, husband of Arlene (Noury) Spencer passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 14th in Cromwell. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Phoebe (Stanley) Spencer. Andrew lived in Middletown all his life, was a volunteer at the South District Fire Department in Middletown, a member of the Washington Lodge #81 AF & AM in Cromwell, belonged to the Connecticut National Guard and worked at Whalen Engineering in Chester. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons; Brian A. Spencer and Woodrow W. Spencer both of Middletown, two daughters; Kristin S. McKenzie and her husband, Scott, of Norwich and Lydia Spencer of Middletown, one brother; James S. Spencer and his wife, Donna of Middletown and four grandchildren; Dayna and Andra Spencer and Emily and Benjamin McKenzie.
