SALEM – Andrew “Andy” David Berg, age 42, of Salem, died at 4:47 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. He was born August 1, 1975 in Salem, son of Richard and Peggy (Brooks) Berg.
Andy was employed as a sales manager at Staples for 17 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Leetonia, an avid Ohio State University football fan and a 1993 graduate of Salem High School.
Survivors include his parents, Rick and Peggy Berg of Salem; a fiancée, Angela Shafer of Salem; two sons, Andrew W. Berg and Allan D. Berg both of Salem; a grandmother, Margaret Berg of Chapin, South Carolina; a brother Richard (Julie) Berg of Salem; and several nephews, aunts and uncles.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Irene Brooks and paternal grandfather, Robert Berg.
