Andress (Andy) Christopher Gonzales, 63, was called home to Jesus with his family by his side on the morning of Wednesday, May 30, 2018. After a sudden severe headache that led him to the ER, and three procedures attempting to stop multiple brain bleeds, Andy was unable to sustain the trauma, and passed away at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs.
He was born September 1, 1954 to Joseph Gonzales and Carmelita Maez in Del Norte, Colorado. Andy was raised in Colorado Springs from the age of 3, which he considered to be his hometown. As a child, he enjoyed drawing and music, as these allowed him to be creative and to dream.
He is survived by his wife Sara Gonzales, children Karson Gonzales (Beth), Catrina Hughes (Devon), Elias Gonzales, and Lexie Gonzales, his pride and joy grandchildren Oliver, Branson, Joby, and Maddison, mother Carmelita (Carmen) Serrato, and siblings Michael, Vivian, Frances and Josie. Andy is preceded in death by father Joseph (Baldi) Gonzales, and siblings David (Jr) Pacheco and Mary (Margaret) Pacheco.
