Amelia (Novak) Wakely, of Lisbon, CT, passed away December 22, 2020, at the Backus Hospital, with her loving children by her side. She was born in Jewett City, CT. Her early and formative years were spent happily on the family’s 100-acre homestead in Lisbon attending Lisbon Central School and the Norwich Free Academy. After her marriage to Thomas J. Wakely, Amelia lived and raised her young family in Jewett City.
