Amado Marquez, 95, of Brighton, passed away on June 14, 2012 in Denver. He was born July 6, 1916 in Gallinas, NM to Ramon Marquez and Maria Gallegos. He married Eva Ortega on April 19, 1985 in Brighton.
Amado has lived in Brighton since 1946 and worked at Lowry Air Force Base as a driver for handicapped Veterans retiring in 1976. He owned and operated the “Good American Organization” until 1983.
He was an avid pool player at Falcon Center and the pool hall in Brighton in the afternoons and Saturdays. He enjoyed fishing and gambling in Central City.
