Alyce D. Overbaker, 76, of 275 E. Carl Sandburg Dr., Galesburg, formerly of 782 S. Seminary St., died at 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Marigold Health Care Center.
Alyce was born on July 21, 1932 in Galesburg, the daughter of Herbert and Jeannie Villardo Kinton. She married Orval Baker in 1950. She later married Harry Overbaker in 1974. Surviving Alyce are 2 sons, Charles Baker of Rolla, MO and Donald Overbaker of Galesburg; and 2 daughters, Angela Baker and Amanda Al-Hafeedhi both of Galesburg. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, John and James Baker and a ½ brother.
