Alvina F. Ohm, age 96, of Rensselaer passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Rensselaer Care Center. Alvina moved to Rensselaer in 2004. She previously lived in Earl Park for 11 years and in Chicago. Born in Dodge, Wisconsin on November 12, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Mrzok) Zabinski.
A homemaker, Alvina was married in Chicago, Illinois on May 11, 1946 to Ray Ohm who passed away in 1987. Alvina was a member of the Earl Park American Legion Auxiliary.
Alvina is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Meding of Earl Park, IN, two step-daughters, Christine Gibson, Jackson, MS and Judith (Hank) Mueller, McHenry, IL, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one brother, Joe Zabinski, Waukesha, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
