Alvin Peter Seegers age 72, of Wheatfield, IN passed away peacefully at home with his loving family around him on January 24, 2011.
He was born on August 10, 1938 in Rensselaer, IN to Grace (Dexter) and Peter Seegers, both deceased. He was a graduate of Wheatfield High School Class of 1959 and a retired farmer. He also was a volunteer fireman for Wheatfield Fire Department for 15 years. On June 23, 1959 he married Patricia Hielema, who survives.
Alvin was a member of First Reformed Church, DeMotte, IN. Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Seegers of Wheatfield, IN Loving children, James (Tina) Seegers of DeMotte, IN; Denise (Walt) Kerns, Gina (David) Conley, and Kent (Toni) Seegers all of Wheatfield, IN. 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Kathleen (Bernard) VanderMolen and Shirley (Robert) Schlarp both of DeMotte, IN; Brother, Bernard (Betty) Seegers of Wheatfield, IN.
Preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandchild and sister Doris Moolenaar.
