Alta Mabel (Baker) Clark, age 66 of Clarksburg WV, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at River Oaks. She was born December 9, 1950 in Clarksburg; the daughter of Sylvia Belle (Reed) Baker and the late Chester Edward Baker.
In addition to her mother, Alta is survived by a daughter, Christina Lucille Clark of Clarksburg, WV; two grandchildren, Necia Ann Stout of Fairmont, WV and Correy Michael Stout of Fairmont, WV; two great grandchildren; Leah Marie Lambeth and Sophia Ivy Lynn Lambeth, both of Fairmont, WV; a sister, Mary Ann Groves of Weston, WV; three brother, Emles Baker of Meadowbrook, WV, Kenneth Baker and Charles Baker of Meadowbrook, WV.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Arthur “BooBee” Clark, whom died on July 8, 2014; a son, David Lee Clark.
Alta was a Pentecostal by faith. She worked for Clarksburg Continuous Care for many years.
