Alma Ruth Morris Veazey, age 85, of Crawfordville, GA, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Ernul, NC on July 28, 1936, one of six children of the late Ray Morris and Evelyn Weatherington Morris. She moved to Georgia in her Twenties. When she was growing up in North Carolina, the family had a band and she enjoyed playing the mandolin.
Survivors include Larry Veazey; her son, Andy Veazey; sister, Elaine Morris Lohr; brother, Tommy Morris; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Morris and brothers, Eric Morris and Gordan Morris.
