Muncie – Alma Jane Detrich, 89, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Parkview Nursing Facility following an extended illness.
Alma was born in Yorktown on June 6, 1922, the daughter of Dan and Alberta McGinzie, and attended Muncie Schools.
Anything that could be done with a crochet hook or needle Alma could do it. She loved her family dearly, and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Survivors include a daughter, Amber L. Evans, (husband-Paul), Muncie; a son, Rodney Detrich, Muncie; five grandchildren, Angie Priddy, (husband-Tom), Ryan Evans, (wife-Cheree), Paula Morrison, (husband-Bobbie), Andrea Cross, (husband-Ryan), and Charlie Detrich; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Charles L. Detrich; and a son, Gary Michael Detrich.
