She was born to the late Chester A. and Ethel Coblentz Armstrong on September 13, 1923 in Cass County, IN
She spent most of her life working in the hotel industries. She was member of Senior Bowling, bowling from 1962-2017 and the First Baptist Church in Lafayette. Alma was a very generous and loving Christian women.
She is survived by daughters Diana Spalding (husband Carl), Susan Sorber (husband Charles) and son Dennis D. East. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a daughter Debra Powell, sons Clem East Jr., Keith Roger East, sister Alwida Johnson, brothers Keith, Kenneth, Albert Armstrong.
