Allison Lindsey Yetter, age 16, entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Marshfield Medical Center.
Allison was born February 15, 2002, in Wisconsin Rapids to Scott and Pamela (Meddaugh) Yetter. She was a Junior at Lincoln High School. Allison had been a manager for the wrestling team for the last 3 years, threw shot put and discus for the track team, and was a member of the Link Crew. She was also a member of the Madison Throws Club. Allison was employed by Lake Arrowhead Association and had previously worked at McDonald’s.
Her hobbies included camping, kayaking, biking, and watching The Office on Netflix. She was a kind-hearted soul who cared about those who were less fortunate and fiercely believed in equality for all. Allison’s favorite youth group activity at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church was the mission trip to the Twin Cities where she was able to help many of those in need. Allison loved music, art, and writing, and enjoyed attending concerts. She was full of joy and laughter and was always up for some fun shenanigans.
Allison chose to be an organ donor when she received her driver’s license earlier this year.
Allison is survived by her parents, Scott and Pamela Yetter; her sister, Abigail Yetter; her grandparents, Lois Meddaugh, Franklin and Sandra Yetter, and Kathleen Hart (Tempe, AZ); numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Jax, Cooper, and Bella.  She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Meddaugh.
