Allie M. Mason, 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at University Heights Health and Living Community in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Allie was born on Sunday, May 11, 1930 in western Casey County, Phil, Kentucky to the late John W. Baxter and Myrtle (Owen) Baxter.
Allie loved being a homemaker and spending quality time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking the time out to read her bible.
Allie had a zest for life and was a passionate lady. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden, and going on fishing trips. She also really liked tennis and watching sporting events in person and on the television. She found pleasure in working jigsaw puzzles and doing her crosswords. She is in Heaven now with Alvin, probably going fishing.
Allie was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Mason; parents; son, Larry D. Mason; brother, Henry Baxter; sisters, Marie Roy, Malene McDonald, Christine Brown, Bernice Matthews, Willadean Taylor, Selena Sallee, and Odetta Byrd.
Allie is survived by her children, Bobby J. (Sharon) Mason, of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Ryan (Emily) Mason, Aaron (Gina) Mason; great grandchildren, Dylan Mason, Marley Mason. Pearl Jolene Mason; several nieces and nephews.
