Allen J. Sutherland, 48, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018, in his residence in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina.
Born on March 15, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Elizabeth Troxell and the late Jimmy Joe Sutherland.
He loved his job as a cement finisher at Dillinger Precast in Denver, North Carolina.
Allen was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary 3790. He loved math and working with numbers, animals, and gardening, but his passion was fishing.
Surviving Allen are his companion, Deborah Hollingsworth, Sherrills Ford; children, Anthony Sutherland (Jessica), Logansport, Natalie Sutherland, Emily Sutherland (Taylor), all of Kokomo, and Kaytlan Scaggs, Westville, Illinois; grandson, Lincoln; granddaughters, Kyla, Kamyrn, and Kaliope, with 2 grandchildren on the way.
Also surviving are siblings, Lisa Sutherland (Patty), Galveston, Michael Sutherland (Kimberly), Logansport, Danielle Hamilton (Adam), Enterprise, Alabama, and Damien Gale, Baltimore.
In addition to his father, a sister, Tammy Anderson preceded him in death.
