Allen Elton Winfrey, age 89, died February 23, 2014. He was a WWII Veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion and a farmer. Preceding him in death are his parents Chester and Katie Winfrey, wife Beulah, brothers Lyndell and Glendon and a son-in-law Bill Basham. He is survived by his children Connie (Leroy) Akridge and Becky Basham; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Imogene Huffman and Geneva Stauber.
