ALICIA WATKINS BEAR, age 87, of Millwood, WVA, formerly of Nokesville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 in Ripley, WVA. Mrs. Bear was a native of Fairfax. She was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Nokesville. Mrs. Bear was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II and was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post #129. She was employed with the Government Printing Office for 26 years and was a big sponsor of the FFA at Brentsville District High School, Nokesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford B. Bear and her parents, the late Hunter DNeal Watkins and Margaret OBrien Watkins. Survivors include her daughter, Delores Archibald, of Hapeville, GA, five grandchildren; William Archibald, of Millwood, WVA, Norman Gilchrest Archibald II, of Warner Robins, GA, Loretta Archibald, of Powder Springs, GA, Lee Archibald, of Athens, GA and Margaret Gee, of Andalusia, AL, four great-grandchildren; Julia and Maddison, of Powder Springs, GA and Cory and Courtney, of Millwood, WVA and a lifetime friend of many members of the Prince William County Police Department. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
