Alice Swiderski (nee:Comegno) age 87, beloved wife of Stanley, passed away on January 5, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Alice was born in Burlington, NJ in 1920 and lived there until her death. Alice worked at the Howard Johnson’s on the NJ Turnpike for 20 years, then as a caterer for many more. She also served on the committee board in Burlington City.
In her free time, she enjoyed going to Atlantic City, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Alice was known for her fashion sense and feisty personality. In addition to her husband of 66 years Stanley, Alice was a loving mother to Rosalie(Joseph) Campor of Burlington Twp, Elaine(Joseph) Mandeville of Hacienda Heights, Ca, Stanley(Josephine) Swiderski of Voorhees, and Ronald(Rebecca) Swiderski of Runnemede.
Predeceased by her granddaughter Carlene Tina Smith, she is survived by her grandchildren Scott & Charles Swiderski, Suzanne(Barry) Jones, John Campor, Alicia, Jessica, Maria, & Serena Swiderski, and Joey Mandeville. Great grandmother to Kristina & Blake Jones, Alaina & Shane Applegate. Sister of Katherine(Benjamin) Cardi, Yolanda (The Late Louis) Mongillo, Anthony(Katherine) Comegno, beloved friend to Yolanda Conti, Arthur Zappacosta, Alma Caruso and Hattie Edmond, she will truly be missed.
