Alice McNew Richards, age 93, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on July 9, 2017 in Littleton, Colorado. She was born in Lamesa, Texas on September 1, 1923 to Joe and Anna Barkowsky McNew. She graduated from Klondike and married Elbert Richards March 16, 1943. She traveled with him when possible during WWII as he served in the US Army. Alice is survived by her son Max Richards, daughter-in-law Rita Richards, daughter Della Porter, son-in-law George Porter, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
