Alice P. Pevey, 84, of South Jacksonville, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Heritage Health in Jacksonville.
She was born June 9, 1930, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Sam and Annie Moore Pevey.
She is survived by one sister, Linda (Sam) Oshner of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James R. Pevey in infancy and Samuel E. Pevey; a sister, Margaret Kilmer; and her half-sister, Mary Eleanor Morris.
Alice was a 1948 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She began work as a dental assistant for Dr. Donald Kolmer in 1967 and retired in 1999 from Dr. William Weller’s office. She was a member of First Christian Church.
