Alice Mae Bornstein Matthews, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 31, 2017. She was born on January 26, 1927 to the late Henry Ernest and Jessie Weddle Bornstein. Alice worked as a cafeteria manager for over 15 years at Woodbury High school, in Woodbury, GA. Previously she was employed at the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles working in title and registration program for over 10 years.
Alice is survived by her grandson Shane (Amy) Byrom; great-grandson Dalton Byrom; brothers George (Emeline) Bornstein, Robert Bornstein, Richard (Patricia) Bornstein, Michael (Rexene) Bornstein; sister Charlotte Stuck; sisters-in-law Wyvette Cox, Myrtice Matthews; brother-in-law Gerald (Jan) Matthews; step-son Sonny Matthews and several nieces and nephews.
