Alice (Ginszanski) Lasewicz, 97, of Newington died on Sunday July 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Lasewicz. Born in Forestville, she lived in Bristol before moving to Newington 44 years ago and attended St. Mary’s Church. Alice was an avid bowler, with a “competitive spirit”. Survivors include her two sons Paul J. Lasewicz, Jr. of Stafford Springs, William R. Lasewicz of Huntsville, AL, her daughter Alice Hardy of Leland, NC, nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition she leaves her brothers Albert Ginszanski of Vernon, Joseph Ginszanski in California and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Frances Bassett, her brother Edward Ginszanski and her sister Louise Sidoti.
