Alice K. Napier passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11th, just five days shy of her 98th birthday.

She and her twin sister, Catherine, were born on January 16, 1921 to Mary and Joseph Kelleher in Peekskill, NY.

Alice was married to Clarence D. (Nape) Napier on October 12, 1947 at the Church of the Assumption in Peekskill. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage until Nape’s passing in 2007. They were lifelong residents of the Peekskill – Cortlandt Manor communities.

She was a parishioner at the Church of the Holy Spirit and faithfully attended daily Mass.

Alice and Nape were active members of the Cortlandt Senior Citizen Center and enjoyed the club’s trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

She was an avid fan of angel pins, John Denver’s music, the New York Yankees, and television’s NCIS.

Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, a loving sister and aunt, a caring neighbor and a good friend.

She is survived by her children, Nancy, James (Mary), and David (Karen); grandchildren Kelly, Claire (George) McFall, Andrew, Brigette (Michael) Gay, Brian, Kayla and Haley; great granddaugher Autumn McFall; great grand puppy Bailey; her twin sister Catherine Brown; sister- in-law Alice Kelleher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, daughter Jean Alice, and brother Joseph.
