Alice Jeanette (Sledge) Bryant, 74, passed away Friday October 17, 2014 in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Bargersville. Alice was born October 15, 1940 in Bargersville to Oral and Sadie (Walker) Sledge.
She was a clerk at Todd Uniform for 12 years; retiring in 1996. Alice enjoyed baking, sewing, jigsaw puzzles and collecting lighthouses. She was a member of the Union High School Alumni Association and was a past secretary. Also a member of the Providence Christian Church for 8 years.
She is survived by four children, Don Bryant of Indianapolis, Georgia Bryant of Martinsville, April (Craig) Streeval of Franklin and Jana J.(Dan) Bryant-Jaggers of Tennessee, a sister, Shirley June (Bill) Cramer of Bargersville, brothers, Richard Sledge of Bargersville and five grandchildren, Jessica Streeval, Luke Streeval,Harley Streeval,Sabastian Jaggers and Lester Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Bryant, brother, Jimmy Sledge and sister, Mary Louise Shoffner.
